Institution
Universidad de La Sabana has 6,249 undergraduate students studying a wide  range of courses including Social Communication and Journalism,  International Business Administration, and Early Childhood Pedagogy.

Students
Undergraduate students are required to take seven levels of English. Our levels are Novice, Basic 1, Basic 2, Pre-Intermediate, Low Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate. Before students start their language levels, they must take a placement test. Some students may be exempt, and if so they are able to take French.  Furthermore, administrative staff can study the languages offered and follow the same procedures as students.

Purpose
Many students use the services at our language resource center, Studium, to learn, practice, reinforce and improve their language skills in English, French or Spanish. They also visit the center in order to fulfill their independent study assignments. Many come on their own in order to prepare for international exams. Studium also provides resources for language teaching development and training.

Features Our counselors and student-tutors help users in the language resource center. Classes, workshops, counseling sessions and talks are held.

Facilities and materials
Learners have access to different software that allows them to improve their language skills. The center provides the use of Net Support School, IP/TV System, and  Satellite TV.  3000 English, French and Spanish language learning items are available which include reference material, videos, audios, magazines, newspapers and learning and practice guides.
